When In The Metroplex

As much as my husband dreaded driving down to Dallas Ft. Worth because the traffic just drives him nuts. I, on the other hand, looks forward to those long trips to the Metroplex because that only means seeing my friends who lives there. My friend Anne?and Selina??are two of my friends whom I like to meet whenever we go there. ?This time, I had to meet them in in separate days because Selina had to work. I makes me happy because our son gets to play with their kids while we do our women talk. This has become our mother?s group meet up as we talk about motherhood and of course our blogging career:) If only they live closer to us I would be really happy so we can have out mother?s day out because they are the only two Filipino friends I am comfortable meeting with.

Another thing we do when we are in DFW is going to my husband?s favorite stores such as the Cabela?s, Bas Pro, and Northern Tools since we don?t have them in Midland. We check on stuff we think of buying for our projects and these stores just have huge selection of outdoor gear, ?hardware equipment, home improvement products and a lot more. This trip, we went to Northern Tools and was checking on that Port-A-Cool that hubby eagerly wants for the shop.

Dining out to different restaurants is something I look forward since I like to try different food. The Salt Grass Steakhouse, Miyako Japanese Restaurant and the Up n? Smoke are so far my favorite places to eat. What ?makes ?more fun about dining at the Metroplex than dining with family and friends? Great conversation with family over dinner makes the night really special.

So even if DFW traffic drives my husband crazy, it all comes down to the fact that he still enjoys it having mentioned the things we do whenever we are in the Metroplex.
