Philadelphia Eagle Cheerleaders: We Want Paris Jackson ...

He is said to have kept them out of the limelight for their own protection. However, since the death of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, his three children have been anything but.

Paris Jackson, Michael's oldest daughter, is only approaching her 14th birthday. But the high school student has already been noticed by Philadelphia Eagles cheer director Barbara Zaun.

Zaun, who has directed the Eagles' squad for the past eight seasons, told TMZ "We think Paris will make a great Eagle cheerleader."

"She is already very comfortable in the limelight, so we think she would definitely stand out and impress the judges," Zaun said to TMZ. "We hope that she will try out for the team and be an Eagles cheerleader!"

The Eagles cheerleading squad, which is made up of 37 young ladies, has annual tryouts for its team. According to the Philadelphia Eagles Cheer website, the open call for tryouts this year is Saturday, March 23.

Paris won't be able to hit the auditions just yet, however. The squad requires cheerleaders to be at least 18 years of age. Those that qualify also must have a high school diploma. Paris is about three years from completing that.

Still, the director was impressed. Zaun told Philadelphia Metro, she'd be keeping an eye on the young star, who cheers for her high school. Zaun saw Paris' video showing a recent cheer.

"We thought that she had a lot of poise, confidence, and enthusiasm in her cheer performance," Zaun told Philadelphia Metro. "Paris has that 'wow factor' that makes a great cheerleader."?
