Full Description
Our client is an international oil and gas engineering contractor. They have a requirement for a Principal Risk and Reliability Engineer to work on a deepwater subsea project in Mexico. This position will be hired on a fixed term basis to work from the project offices in Ciudad Del Carmen in Mexico for up to 3 years.

• The main duties and responsibilities for the role include:
• Managing risk and reliability related project issues
• Maintaining compliance with regulations, codes and standards.
• Managing risk audits, workshops and risk identification solution.
• Working with the project personnel / contractors to capture and resolve risk issues
• Attend HAZIDs, HAZOPs and ensure risk issues are identified and resolved.
• Conducting regular risk and reliability audits and visit work sites regularly.
• Implement and maintain risk management system
• Develop and implement risk and reliability awareness programmes
• Perform risk assessments and identify risk mitigation measures.
• Contribute to the training and development of staff

Skills and experience required:

• Must be degree educated
• Must have worked extensively on offshore projects
• Proven track record working on offshore subsea oil and gas projects
• Knowledge of the relevant codes and standards
• Relevant experience in risk and reliability software and tools, international best practice.
• Knowledge of subsea systems desirable
• Spanish language knowledge desirable
