KARACHI, Dec. 24 ? Pakistan Society for Microbiology in collaboration with American Society for Microbiology (ASM) will host three day international conference in Karachi from December 28 to December 31, 2012.
The conference will include lectures by invited speakers, workshops, and research papers/poster presentations covering almost all areas of Microbiology. Aspects to be covered will include Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics; Immunodiagnostics and Molecular Microbiology;
Animal Health and Agricultural Microbiology; Zoonotic Diseases Outbreaks and Surveillance; Biosafety? and Biosecurity for Human, Animal and Plant Health.
Stem Cell Research: Benefits and Ethical issues; Antimicrobial Agents, Vaccines and Immune therapeutics; Environmental Biotechnology and Climate Change; New and Emerging Infectious Diseases, Beneficial? Microbiology are also among the topics to be covered during the three day moot. The moot will also be co-hosted by Department of Microbiology, University of Karachi, Biosafety Association of Pakistan-(BSAP) and Consortium of Scientific Societies ofPakistan (CSSP).
