OSWEGO, NY ? Parishioners of St. Mary?s Church in Oswego recently presented Catholic Charities of Oswego County with a large donation of toys that will be distributed to less fortunate children in the community.
Rev. John Hogan (left) presents Helen Hoefer, supervisor of Catholic Charities of Oswego County?s Emergency Services program and Joe Arigo of Catholic Charities with a generous donation of children?s gifts from the parishioners of St. Mary?s Church in Oswego. Catholic Charities will distribute the gifts so that less fortunate children in the community may have the opportunity to open a present on Christmas morning.
Supervisor of Catholic Charities? Emergency Services program, Helen Hoefer, was happy to receive the donation and thankful that St. Mary?s thought of them.
?With the requests we are receiving this holiday season we are very grateful to the parishioners of St. Mary?s for their very generous donations. They donated a wonderful assortment gifts that will go a long way in helping us meet those requests. These donations will help put smiles on the faces of many children as they enjoy the opportunity to unwrap a present on Christmas morning,? said Hoefer.
